Greyt Angel of the Month (April 2018): Pony!

​Meet Pony, affectionally called "Pony Baloney" by her foster mom! Pony is a sweet and beautifully colored brindle greyhound mix (a.k.a. a "Lurcher"), who is approximately 4-6 years young. She came to us from the American Lurcher Project. She is an exceptionally fun girl who loves people, especially kids, having fun, celebrations, and living life! She loves to go for walks and has an adventurous spirit (perfect for a family who loves to be outdoors), but she is also very snuggly and would be just as happy to spend a lazy Sunday on the couch with you watching baseball. She gets along very well with her canine siblings, which include other greyhounds and small dogs. But she would prefer a home without any cats. 

Pony does occasionally have mild seizures, but they don't hold back her zest for life and she has been doing extremely well on a daily seizure medication, which is not very expensive. Pony has been with Greyt Angels for over six months now and we just can't believe a hound as loving as her with such a rock star personality hasn't found her forever family yet. But we think that means that she's waiting for an extra special family to come along any day now and make her their's forever!
